The Ballon d’Or winner led PSG to victory with two goals, while Goncalo Ramos sealed a 3–1 result in the final moments of the match

In five days, Paris Saint-Germain face a major clash with Liverpool at the Parc des Princes. However, they first had to take care of business against Toulouse in Ligue 1—and they did just that. Luis Enrique’s side secured the win, and goalscorers in the match were Ousmane Dembele, who netted twice, and Goncalo Ramos, who put the finishing touch late in the game. This victory brings a wave of positive energy to all PSG fans ahead of the clash with the English side.

PSG started on the front foot, threatening as early as the third minute when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia forced a strong save from Guillaume Restes after a quick counter led by Ousmane Dembele. The French winger remained at the heart of the action, coming close again in the 14th minute with a powerful effort that flashed just wide.

Toulouse responded a couple of minutes later, as Demba Diop tested Safonov following a long throw-in, but the PSG goalkeeper was equal to the attempt. Despite that, it was the hosts who broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute—and in style. After Hakimi’s cross was only partially cleared, Dembele struck a superb left-footed volley into the top corner to give PSG the lead.

The visitors didn’t take long to respond. In the 27th minute, Toulouse capitalized on a set-piece, with Rasmus Nicolaisen heading home after Safonov failed to deal with a corner, bringing the score level.

PSG quickly regained control and restored their lead in the 33rd minute. Another corner proved decisive, as Kvaratskhelia flicked the ball on at the near post for Dembele to tap in from close range and grab his second of the night.

Before the break, PSG continued to press, with Kvaratskhelia seeing his shot from the edge of the box blocked and deflected out for a corner, underlining the home side’s attacking intent.

Toulouse came out with intent after the break, nearly leveling things in the 48th minute when Yann Gboho struck a powerful effort from distance, only to see it drift just wide of the left post. PSG quickly responded, with Kvaratskhelia getting into a promising position inside the box, but his right-footed attempt in the 51st minute went off target.

The hosts thought they had extended their lead just minutes later when Dembele finished from close range to complete his hat-trick, but the goal was ruled out for a clear offside following a corner situation.

PSG continued to look dangerous in transition, and in the 62nd minute produced a well-worked team move. Desire Doue led a counter down the right before the ball found Kvaratskhelia at the far post, whose header back across goal set up Joao Neves, but his volley went wide.

Toulouse had one more half-chance in the 75th minute, as Emersonn managed to create space near the edge of the box, but his shot lacked precision and sailed wide.

PSG put the game beyond doubt in stoppage time, as a ball played in behind Nuno Mendes found Goncalo Ramos, who fired an instinctive right-footed shot past Guillaume Restes, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
