A TV pundit both Messi and Ronaldo hate - Jamie Carragher

In the football circuits, Cristiano Ronaldo is the player famous for his vanity. Many footballers revealed that he calls them to ask them why did they choose Lionel Messi over him and he also listens carefully to what other TV pundits are saying. Over the last decade, both he and Messi where rivals in everything, but apparently they have (at least) one thing in common – they both dislike Jamie Carragher. Former Liverpool defender is a TV pundit for years now and his comments are often also a subject to other comments, from fans to other players. And he is the only pundit who manage to get on nerves of both players.

The CBS Sports show Golazo was relocated to Miami this Wednesday, during the Champions League week for only one purpose - to get Lionel Messi to the studio. But, obviously nobody from the production of the show tried to get to the Argentinian star a couple of weeks ago, to make sure that he will participate. When they arranged everything and contacted him a few days before the show, the official message of the Inter Miami PR was:

“Lionel Messi will not be doing any television show that Jamie Carragher is a part of“.

What‘s the reason behind Messi‘s ‘hate‘? The only thing he did was to say, when the Argentinian signed for PSG, that this is not a good move (which turned out to be true)!

'I had a little pop at Cristiano Ronaldo earlier in the season, didn’t think it was a great signing for Manchester United, then I said the example of Messi, I didn’t think Messi's a great signing for PSG,' the former Liverpool defender said in January 2022. In September this year, he revealed that he got a private Instagram message from Messi in which he called Carragher a ‘donkey‘. It seems that the Argentinian star still hasn‘t forgive to the former Liverpool defender for speaking his mind, but that also shows that he is not so kind and wonderful, as everybody else is says. What‘s worst in this situation is that Carragher actually rates Messi more than Ronaldo, and said that the Argentinian is the greatest player in the world. His comments about Ronaldo‘s role in Manchester also left the Portuguese fuming. Ahead of Manchester United ’s clash with the Reds back in August 2022, Carragher was part of the broadcasting team for Sky Sports. Ronaldo greeted both former United stars Roy Keane and Gary Neville but gave Carragher the ‘cold shoulder‘.
