Africa's fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala's record-breaking streak continues as he ran 6.51 seconds to break the Kenyan 60m National Record for the second time in 2024

Omanyala ran 6.51 in winning the Paris Indoor Meeting, barely a week after timing 6.52 seconds to win the Miramas meet, which was a national record as well.
The Kenyan Commonwealth Games champion, set to lead Team Kenya in this year's Indoor championship finished ahead of Matadi Emmanuel of the USA who clocked 6.57 seconds while Azu Jeremiah of Great Britain was third in 6.59.
Set to headline Team Kenya to the World Indoor Championship set for March 1 to 3, the sprints sensation takes a break from competition to focus on preparations ahead of the championship.
