Bolt also revealed which of his two records between the 100m and 200m would be tough to beat.
Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt has revealed that he could soon venture into coaching after a turnaround of thought inspired by becoming a father.
Time and over again, the eight-time Olympic champion has stated that he never thought about coaching owing to his impatience.
But after becoming the father of three children, Bolt, who still holds the 100m and 200m world record of 9.58s and 19.19s which he set in 2009, revealed how that phase of his life has shaped him into becoming a more patient individual that has consequently made him consider being a coach.

“I have always told people that I have no patience to coach whenever they asked me that question. But now that I have three kids, you got to have that patience and I think I am leaning to maybe coaching one day,” Bolt, who is now 36 years, said in an interview on World Athletics’ Inside Track.
Bolt went ahead to reveal that talks about coaching have already taken place with his coach Glen Mills whom he hopes to at least emulate when his time comes to nurture the next generation of athletes.
“It is something I have already talked to my coach (Mills) about and I need to pick his brain to find out how his mind works so that I can be as good as him or even better than him, so it is something I am thinking about right now,” he noted.

With current athletes still battling to create their own legacies on track, no one has come close to matching Bolt’s two records in the 100m and 200m since 2009.
While debate has been ripe as to whether the two records will ever be even matched or broken, Bolt noted it would take something special to bring down the 100m record.
“I am not worried about that (the records) but I think the 100 will be harder because it is quicker and if you make a mistake during the race you are not going to get it. It is a lot more technical so I think maybe that will just go last,” he said.
