Mwamba RFC and Impala RFC ended the Women's Kenya Cup semi-finals on a high note, securing impressive victories over Western Spears and Northern Suburbs, respectively.

Mwamba 38-7 Western Spears

Mwamba dominated their game against Western Spears, securing a 38-7 win at the RFUEA Grounds.

Despite facing a challenging task, the Kakamega-based Western Spears managed to score their only try of the match through Lawnisky Lawreen. Mwamba's Terry Ayiesa, Stephanie Waithera, Diana Omosso, Edith Muchele, and Sandra Wafula all contributed to their team's victory.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport after the match, Mwamba ladies Team Manager Joyce Odhiambo was excited for the win, despite it not meeting their expectations.

"The game was good, although it did not meet our expectations. We now focus on the match ahead," Odhiambo said.

Impala RFC 26-5 Northern Suburbs

Meanwhile, at the Impala Grounds, Impala RFC triumphed over Northern Suburbs, securing a convincing 26-5 victory. The Suburbs, coached by Kenya 7s star Vincent Onyala, will have to try their luck again next season. Impala's Sharon Auma (brace) and Judith Auma scored for the hosts, with Anne Koki's kicking masterclass helping to secure the win.

With the semi-finals now behind them, Mwamba RFC and Impala RFC are set to face off in the Women's Kenya Cup final, scheduled to take place on Saturday 11 at the Impala Grounds.
