
Simbas name squad for penultimate Currie Cup game against Leopards

Leopards are the reigning Currie Cup champions
The men's national rugby 15s head coach Paul Odera has named his 23 man squad that is set to take on South African side Leopards in their penultimate Currie Cup Division One match set to be played in the country this Saturday 4 June 2022 at the RFUEA Grounds.
Having just jetted back into the country from a two month stay in South Africa, the Kenya Simbas were handed an opportunity to play their last two Currie Cup games on home soil as part of their ongoing preparations for the 2023 Rugby World Cup scheduled to take place in France.

In the squad named to face the reigning Currie Cup champions, Kabras veteran player Daniel Sikuta will captain the side as Emmanuel Silungi , who joins from Israel, and Davis Chenge, who returns from injury, also make the squad.
KCB ace Darwin Mukidza also slots back in the squad and starts as the full back.
