Shujaa off to a positive start, Lionesses caged
The Kenya Rugby Sevens team Shujaa has schooled neighbors Uganda 28-10 in day one of the second week of the Emirates Invitational Sevens at the Sevens Stadium.
Shujaa finished third in the first week pf the tournament after beating Japan 31-14 in the third and fourth place playoff after losing 17-5 to France in the semifinals.

Innocent Simiyu’s boys got off to a flying start in their mission to roar in the second week, humiliating Uganda to gather more courage ahead of their second match against Canada.
Kenya saw off Canada 21-19 in the quarterfinals of week one.
Shujaa conceded a try in the first half which they led 14-5 before replicating a similar result in the final stanza.
While Shujaa had a positive start, the women’s team Lionesses were humbled 22-5 by Canada in the opening match.

Felix Oloo’s charges will now be seeking redemption when they face France in their second match.
France showed no mercy to the Kenyan girls in the first week after thrashing them twice in 31-12 and 43-0 scorelines.
