Today, the Tusker FC forward finds himself on the verge of winning the first major trophy of his career as the Brewers prepare for the Mozzart Bet Cup final slated for Sunday, 14 June at the Kwale Stadium.
Omole’s story is one of persistence and adaptation.
During his time with SamWest, he was among the club’s standout performers, registering 10 goals and seven assists while helping the team navigate the challenges of life in the second tier.
His performances earned him a move to Tusker ahead of the 2025/26 season, a step up that came with greater expectations and pressure.
However, the forward says he has embraced the challenge and settled well into life at one of Kenya’s most successful clubs.
“First of all, I would love to thank the Tusker fraternity as a whole; the management, players, and the technical bench.
The journey has not been easy. Before last season, I was with SamWest Black Boots, and then I moved to Tusker. It has been a new journey. There is pressure here, but I have adapted and bonded with the rest of the team,” the outspoken Omole told Mozzart Sport.
His debut campaign with the Brewers has been a steady one. He scored his first goal of the season in a crucial 1-0 away victory against Mara Sugar FC and has gradually become an important squad player.
The forward's impact has been particularly evident in the Mozzart Bet Cup. Omole announced himself in the competition with a brace against Mwea United, helping Tusker begin their cup run in emphatic fashion.
“The match against Mwea was not easy, but at least I managed to score a brace, and from there I got an assist, and I kept rising,” he said.
So far, Omole has scored two goals in the competition and now hopes to make another decisive contribution in the final.
For the forward, a goal or assist in the showpiece would not only help Tusker lift the trophy but would also serve as a way of repaying the faith shown in him since arriving from the NSL.
“Tomorrow (Sunday) we will be playing the final, if I manage a goal or assist, I will be grateful,” he added.
The Brewers are chasing their first domestic cup title in 10 years and will face Kenya Police FC, who won the 2024 edition. The Julien Mette-coached outfit is eager to bounce back after missing out on the league title, which was claimed by Gor Mahia.
