St. Peter’s Mumias and Kinale Girls are the new rugby sevens kings and queens of the 2025 KSSSA National Term Two Games after thrilling final performances at the Bull Ring in Kakamega.

Kinale Girls made history by winning their maiden title in only the second edition of the girls' rugby 7s competition. The Central Region champions stunned defending champions St. Joseph’s Girls Kitale 17-5 in a clinical final performance.
Kinale dominated from the outset, utilising their pace and structure to dismantle the former title holders.
Their standout player, Rose Waithera, was deservedly named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP), having been instrumental throughout the competition.
In the boys’ category, St. Peter’s Mumias delivered one of the most dramatic finishes of the tournament, scoring a late try and conversion to edge out Koyonzo High School 14-12 in a hotly contested all-Western final.

Clinton Njenga of St. Peter’s was named MVP for the boys’ category, following his brilliant individual displays and his pivotal role in the final.
