The final is slated for a 10 PM kick off on Sunday
Ahead of their Rugby Africa Cup final against Kenya Simbas, Namibian lock Janco Ventor has urged his teammates to raise their game in a bid to win the tournament.
The Rugby Africa Cup also doubles up as the 2023 Rugby World Cup qualifiers with the winner set to earn a direct ticket to the intercontinental showpiece.
Ventor who turns out for five-time Gallagher Premiership Rugby champions Saracens commended the boys after their victory over Zimbabwe and urged his teammates to raise their game against Kenya.
“What I took away from that game (against Zimbabwe) is the unbelievable effort from the team, they all stuck together and fought for each other and that's what you need in a tournament like this. We need a good recovery, it's a short turnaround and we need to make sure all the bodies are fresh and just stick to our passes going into the next game and take it into another level,” said Ventor.
Namibia will be hoping to progress to their seventh straight Rugby World Cup at the expense of Kenya who are yet to set foot in the tourney.
The final is slated for a 10 PM kick off on Sunday 10 July at the Aix-en-Provence in France,
