The final is slated for a 10 PM kick off on Sunday at the Aix-en-Provence in France.
Ahead of the Rugby Africa Cup final which doubles up as the 2023 Rugby World Cup qualifiers, Kenya Simbas scrum half Samuel Asati is hopeful of staging a massive upset by beating Namibia.
Kenya face an uphill battle as they try stopping Namibia from punching a ticket to their seventh consecutive Rugby World Cup berth with the Simbas yet to qualify for the intercontinental showpiece.
Simbas edged Algeria 36-33 in a nail biting semi final while Namibia proved too strong for Zimbabwe putting them to the sword with a 34-19 victory.
Asati who collected his second Man of the Match award against Uganda and Algeria noted that booking a place in the final was a massive boost but Simbas will have to dig deep if they are to beat Namibia.
“Qualifying for the final is good but we have to put more effort ahead of the final and hopefully we shall win it,” said Asati.
Paul Odera will need to find answers of stopping mauls after Algeria registered most of their tries from their powerful forwards and will hope to have Collins Injera, Vincent Onyala and Dawrin Mukidza back from injuries.
Mukidza picked up an injury in the second half against Algeria while Injera and Onyala missed the match all together after knocks in the clash against Uganda.
