Gibson Weru's Menengai Oilers continued with their perfect start at the Prinsloo 7s tournament currently taking place at the Nakuru Athletic Club as they picked up a second consecutive win following their emphatic victory over perennial rivals Nakuru.
Buoyed by their 40-0 thumping of Kisumu in their opening pool B clash, Oilers showed little mercy in the Nakuru derby as they condemned Wanyore to a 31-7 whitewash that ensured the team claimed all the bragging rights and safely secured their place in the main cup quarter final matches

Sitting in second place on the log on 72 points, only three behind log leaders KCB, Oilers are looking to break the record that has seen them become the only side in the top five that has not claimed any title in the four rounds so far played despite being in contention at the Driftwood and Dala 7s finals.
Elsewhere, the remaining teams in the top five, KCB, Strathmore Leos, Mwamba and Homeboyz also picked their second wins to all but secure quarter final berths.
Log leading KCB (75 points) were made to work hard by Impala but they managed to just get over the line against the Oscar Osir coached side by picking a 7-0 win.
Third placed Strathmore (66points), who are without the services of head coach Louis Kisia who is serving a 5 week suspension, beat Vihiga Granites 24-7 as fourth placed Mwamba (63) beat Blak Blad 12-7.
Homeboyz handed Kabras Sugar their first defeat with the game ending 17-5.
