Edith Naliaka had opened the scoring early for Mwamba and returned in the second half to complete her brace, setting the tone for a dominant turnaround.
Janet Okello made an immediate impact, while Rose Otieno powered over to stretch the lead as momentum swung decisively in Mwamba’s favour.
Irene Apiyo added another crucial try as the champions tightened their grip on the contest, before Ann Namunyak sealed the victory with the final score that put the result beyond doubt.
Despite the loss, it was a commendable performance from Quins Queens, whose rapid rise continues to impress. Formed as recently as October 2023, the side showed they can compete at the highest level after pushing an experienced Mwamba outfit to the limit.
