Eight teams will be battling for the Christie 7s title including reigning champions KCB RFC who made it to the Main Cup quarters.

Warm greetings from wherever you are reading us from, its a chilly morning here at RFUEA Grounds but the weather alone is not enough to dumpen the spirits here as Christie 7s enters Day 2.

The opening day was utterly entertaining and judging from Saturday we are in for a spectacular day of rugby as Mozzart Sport will be giving you game by game update of the oldest 7s club tournament in the land.

Challenge Cup

Quarter Finals 1: Top Fry Nakuru 31-7 Blakblad

Blakblad's woes in the National Sevens Circuit was extended following a loss to Top Fry Nakuru in the opening match of Challenge Cup while Nakuru RFC who were the losing finalists back in 2019 when the tournament was last held booked a ticket to the semis.

Quarter Finals 2: Homeboyz 12-7 MMUST

Homeboyz who have been entertaining in the circuit thus far struggled to get past a stubborn MMUST side, barley scraping through to the semis against the varsity side.

Quarter Finals 3: Daystar University 22-10 South Coast Pirates

The varsity side who made to the Main Cup of the Kabeberi 7s made amends for missing the Main Cup quarters of the Christie's 7s by beating a toothless South Coast Pirates.

Quarter Finals 4: Catholic Monks 5-29 Nondescripts

Nondies continued from where they from in Day 1 after beating Kabras Sugar RFC in their second game as they punched a ticket to the semis at the expense of Catholic Monks.

Main Cup

Quarter Finals 1: KCB RFC 31-0 Impala Saracens

The Bankers continued with their unbeaten streak in the National Sevens Circuit after putting the sword to Impala Saracens who failed to get on the score sheet.

Quarter Finals 2: Mwamba 12-19 Menengai Oilers

Mwamba suffered their first defeat of the Christie 7s after going down 12-19 to an enterprising Menengai Oilers side.

Quarter Finals 3: Kenya Harlequin 10-17 Strathmore Leos

Strathmore Leos who have been one of the entertaining sides in the circuit this season made it to the semi finals of the Christie 7s after bundling out the hosts, Kenya Harlequin.

Quarter Final 4: Kabras Sugar 12-13 Western Bulls

The first upset of the day was served in the Western Derby after Western Bulls just managed to edge Kabras Sugar by a single point.
