Christie 7s: Relentless KCB out to defend title

The games are set to kick off at 9 am.
Undefeated KCB RFC will be out to lay their hands on back-to-back Christie 7s titles after finishing Day 1 without a blemish and will face Impala Saracens at the RFUEA Grounds on Sunday.
The Bankers picked up from where they left from in Kabeberi 7s after clinching the season opener and beat South Coast Pirates 32-7 in the opening game of the Christie 7s.
KCB then thumped the tournament hosts Kenya Harlequin 19-5 in the second game before closing the day with a 21-10 win over Nakuru RFC.
Strathmore Leos who have been nothing short of entertainment in the National Sevens Circuit thus far will face Kenya Harlequin in the quarterfinals of the oldest club sevens tournament in the land.
Mwamba who finished Day 1 unscathed will face Menengai Oilers following a 25-5 win over Western Bulls which they followed up with a 12-7 narrow win over Catholic Monks and wrapped up their day with another scrappy 19-12 win over Homeboyz RFC.
Kabras Sugar RFC who are yet to get in their groove will face Western Bulls in the last eight after wins over local rivals MMUST as they turned on the style by beating Menengai Oilers 36-7 and closed the day with a 10-5 defeat to Nondescripts.
In the Challenge Cup, Nakuru RFC will face an out-of-form Blakblad while Homeboyz RFC who have shown flashes of brilliance thus far will face varsity side MMUST.
Daystar Falcons who outdid themselves by reaching the Main Cup of the Kabeberi Sevens will face South Coast Pirates while Nondescripts will be up against Catholic Monks.
