Impala and Mwamba return back to the Kenya Cup and are slated to face Harlequin and Blak Blad respectively.
Kenya Cup resumes action this Saturday with Round Three taking center stage as Impala Saracens and Mwamba RFC make a return to the tournament while Kenya Harlequin look to stop the rot and pick up their first win of the season.
Mwamba vs Blak Blad
Mwamba RFC made a comeback to the Kenya Cup after revising their decision to participate in the tournament after missing out on the opening two rounds.
Rustiness will be a huge cause of concern for Mwamba after being out of action for over a year as expressed by head coach Kevin Wambua.
“Our approach to the game is that we are trying to give a number of players game time, we have also been working on the structure but we want to gauge where we are in terms of progress. We do not have any injury concerns, my worry is the fitness levels because we have a long way to go,” said Wambua.
Blak Blad will be coming back from a decent 12 all draw against Menengai Oilers having lost their opening game of the season against Nakuru RFC.

Impala vs Harlequin
Impala also return to the Kenya Cup fixtures after missing the opening two games and face an out of form Kenya Harlequin.
Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Mitch Ocholla revealed he is not concerned about the fitness levels of his side ahead of the clash.
“We are glad to get back after being out for almost a year, if you look at Harlequins they have played three to but we have equally prepared and it should be a good tie tomorrow. Rustiness will not be a concern because we have had a good preseason, the biggest challenge will be getting back to the form that we had before,” said Ocholla.
Quins have lost three games so far this season after losing to Kabras in the Sisimka Cup and suffering defeats at the hands of Oilers and KCB.

Oilers vs Nakuru
Nakuru RFC have started the season with a bang after winning their opening two games against Blak Blad and newly promoted MMUST.
Oiler however suffered a deflating draw against Black Blad last time out leaving them fourth on the log with head coach Gibson Weru looking to right the wrongs from the stalemate.
“We have to bounce back from the draw against Blak Blad, we have to focus on our strengths. It has been a journey to get this far. There is only one injury in training, Brian Ndirangu who suffered an injury in training but we hope that he will be back in the coming games,” said Weru.
