KCB and Strathmore Leos in group of death as Dala 7s Pools are announced
Reading Time: 2min | Wed. 22.06.22. | 11:11
The Dala 7s is scheduled for Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July at the Mamboleo Showgrounds in Kisumu.
Top of the table in the National Sevens Circuit KCB and Strathmore Leos will renew their fierce rivalry after being drawn in Pool C of the Dala 7s scheduled for next month.
The Dennis Mwanja and Loius Kisia coached sides will head to Kisumu reeling and eager to overcome disappointing outings at the Driftwood 7s where both teams, for the first time this season, failed to make the main Cup final.
The Bankers had a blistering start to the season, clinching the Kabeberi 7s while Strathmore recovered after losing the opening final to beat KCB in the utterly entertaining Christie 7s final.
The duo are pooled alongside a hapless Blackblad and Impala Saracens who have flattered to be decisive in the circuit this season.
Another interesting Pool will see Driftwood finalists Menengai Oilers, enterprising Daystar University, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) and Kabras Sugar who are yet to hit their stride.
Driftwood champions Mwamba RFC who recovered from disappointing opening legs will be up against hosts Kisumu RFC, Top Fry Nakuru and Nondescripts who showed flashes of brilliance last time out.
