The tournament which is hosted by Mombasa RFC is set to feature some of the top Sevens teams in the circuit.
Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL), through its flagship brand Tusker, has announced a Sh2 million sponsorship towards the third round of the 2022 National Sevens Circuit, dubbed Driftwood Sevens, which is set to be held at Mombasa Sports Club this weekend.
As part of the sponsorship, Tusker, which is celebrating its 100-year milestone, will be the official alcohol beverage partner of the tournament through which it will also sponsor the event’s after-party.
The sponsorship follows a similar sponsorship of Sh8 million by the company for the concluded George Mwangi Kabeberi Memorial Sevens, which kicked off the National Rugby Sevens Circuit and Christie Sevens both of which were played at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.
