Impala seeded first for Christie 7s women’s competition

Impala won the opening leg at Prinsloo last weekend

Eight teams are confirmed for the second round of the 2023 National 7s Circuit women’s competition taking place from 11-13 August at the RFUEA Ground.

Yamanashi Impala, cup winners at last weekend’s Prinsloo 7s headline Pool A which features Moi University, Western Spears and Administration Police while Pool B has Mwamba who were runners up in Nakuru, NYS Spades and Northern Suburbs.

The final of the women’s competition will be played on Sunday 13 August 2023.

Christie 7s Women’s Pools

Pool A: Yamanashi Impala, Moi University, Western Spears, Administration Police

Pool B: Mwamba, Nakuru, NYS Spades, Northern Suburbs

In the men’s Division 2 category, Zetech Oaks headline the competition at the fourth round of the Circuit taking place on 12-13 August at the Impala Club.

They are in Pool A with Meru, Nanyuki Jackals and Masaku while Pool B features Makueni, Stallions, Northern Suburbs and Comras.

Division two leaders UoE Trojans play out of a Pool C that also features Molo, Kenya Prisons and the Presbyterian University of East Africa.

Administration Police Warriors are in Pool D with Embu, NYS Spades and Ngong Warriors as Pool E features TUM Marines, Moi University, MKU Nairobi and Dagoretti Bulldogs.

Pool B: Makueni, Stallions, Northern Suburbs, Comras

Pool C: UoE Trojans, Molo, Kenya Prisons, PUEA
