
Dala 7s: KCB, Kabras, Oilers through to quarterfinals after stellar show

All the top guns managed to secure their safe passage to the Main Cup quarter finals of the Dala 7s
Dala 7s defending champions KCB Rugby, Kabras RFC, and Kenya Harlequin have all clinched their places in the Main Cup quarterfinals after securing back-to-back victories in their pool matches at the Mamboleo Grounds on Saturday.
Round One
Menengai Oilers started strong with a commanding 31-0 victory over Mwamba RFC, setting the pace for the tournament. Meanwhile, Kenya Harlequin edged out Strathmore Leos 17-12 in a closely contested match. Nondescripts also secured a narrow 17-12 win against Homeboyz RFC.
KCB Rugby displayed their early dominance with a 24-0 win over Kenyatta University's Blak Blad, while Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) Rugby impressed with a 21-15 victory against Kisumu RFC.
Kabras Sugar continued their winning ways, defeating Stallions Rugby 19-0. The Catholic Monks earned a hard-fought 19-12 win over Zetech University, and Nakuru RFC played out a thrilling 19-19 draw with Daystar Falcons.
Round Two
Menengai Oilers continued their winning streak with a 27-12 victory over Strathmore Leos. Kenya Harlequin maintained their momentum, beating Mwamba RFC 17-7. Nondescripts again showed resilience, securing a 19-14 win over KU's Blak Blad.
KCB Rugby proved their strength once more, with a 36-5 demolition of Homeboyz RFC. MMUST remained in form, defeating Stallions Rugby 29-14.
Kabras Sugar secured a 19-5 win over Kisumu RFC, while Catholic Monks shut out Daystar Falcons 19-0. Zetech University clinched a tight 17-14 victory over Nakuru RFC.
Round Three
Strathmore Leos bounced back spectacularly, routing Mwamba RFC 45-0. KU's Blak Blad also found their form, defeating Homeboyz RFC 34-7. Stallions Rugby managed to overcome Kisumu RFC with a 12-5 win, and Daystar Falcons secured a 17-0 triumph over Zetech University.
Menengai Oilers continued their undefeated run, beating Kenya Harlequin 21-12. KCB Rugby maintained their perfect record, overcoming Nondescripts 19-7.
In a surprising turn of events, MMUST handed Kabras Sugar a 17-12 defeat, while Nakuru RFC closed the round with a 14-10 victory over Catholic Monks.
