The Bankers four peat was brought to a grinding halt by Kabras last season.

Reigning Impala Floodlit Tournament champions, KCB RFC will be looking to recapture the Kenya Cup title this season with Davis Chenge revealing their biggest threats.

The Bankers were bundled out of the playoffs at the semi-final hurdle by an impressive Menengai Oilers side who went on to lose in the final against Kabras Sugar.

Chenge has had an impressive start to the season after bagging the Impala Floodlit Tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP) after beating Nondescripts in the final.

The Kenyan international admitted that their main objective this season was to win the Kenya Cup after relinquishing it last season as he named Kabras and Oilers as their main title challengers.

“We are focusing on one game at a time, reclaiming the title is our end goal but we cannot win the final before we get there, last season we lost the semis and the final did not matter.

At the moment it is very hard to tell who will be our biggest challengers, but I think Oilers and Kabras have very good systems and programs.

The two teams also have very good players who are capable of anything so I think they will be our biggest threat this season,” said Chenge.

Curtis Olago’s side had a bright start to the season after whitewashing Kenya Harlequin 38-0 last weekend.
