The former Kenyatta University player will depart Kenya early Wednesday (1:00 AM) heading to Tunis via Doha

Kenyan volleyball star Moses Omondi Sialo has signed a season-long deal with Tunisian and continental giants Mouloudia Sportive De Bou Salen (MSB).

The move for the hitter, who recently played for Kenyan side Trailblazers Volleyball Club, makes it the third time he is playing abroad, having featured professionally in Oman and Iraq.

The transfer was confirmed Tuesday afternoon, and it is expected that Sialo will depart Kenya early Wednesday (1:00 AM) heading to Tunis via Doha.

Trail Blazers took the moment to take pride in Sialo’s “relentless dedication” that has consistently opened doors abroad for him, despite having not been called up to the national team setup.

“You don’t need a national call-up to chase your dreams—sometimes, the world stage is your true arena,” Trailblazers wrote in their farewell message, adding that his story would send a powerful message to all athletes striving for success.

In an interview, Sialo encouraged his teammates at Trailblazers to keep working hard, maintaining that he would still be following up with their progress.

Sialo becomes the second big exit for Trailblazers, following the departure of head coach Geoffrey Omondi, who was recently appointed as the new Kenya Pipelines tactician.
