The second leg is scheduled for 10 to 12th February at Nyayo Stadium.
Even in the absence of key players, including national team setter Brian Melly who has left for a professional stint, General Service Unit (GSU) men's volleyball coach Gideon Tarus is confident of a good start to this year's league title campaign.
The paramilitary side begin their hunt against nemesis and former champions Prisons Kenya as the second leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) league gets underway next month.

Tarus maintains that his squad is intact and the new additions have stepped up and are expected to perform well.
"We have been in training for the last one week and I am impressed with the performance of all the players.
The last time we were in action was during the Mosoriot tournament and we played to a 2-2 sets outcome against Prisons but the match was canceled.
It was, however, a good place to find out what we needed to work on ahead of the second leg," Tarus offered.
GSU will be opening their season against Prisons, Trailblazers and Prisons Rift Valley. During the first leg played at Mosoriot in December, Tarus' charges were not in action as their opponents for the first leg, Vihiga County, were a no-show forcing the match to be shelved for later.
