Safari Tour heads to Sigona

The highly anticipated Safari Tour Season Six continues its thrilling journey, with the third leg sponsored by ABSA bank scheduled to take place from 6 to 10 January 2024 at the prestigious Sigona Golf Club.

This premier golfing event has attracted 69 professionals and amatuers drawn from Namibia, Zambia, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Tanzania, Malawi, and the host country, Kenya.

The Safari Tour Season Six third leg commenced with a Pro-Am event on Saturday setting the stage for a week of intense competition.

The Pro-Am provides a unique opportunity for amateur golfers to play alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship.

The stakes are high, with a total prize money pool of Ksh 1 million up for grabs.

The ultimate champion will walk away with a substantial prize of Ksh 150,000. This significant prize underscores the Safari Tour's commitment to rewarding excellence and showcasing the best of African golf talent.

Some of the elite amateurs set to feature include Daniel Kiragu, Daniel Chelogoi , Fred Njoroge and Jeremia Ngond’o


Road to the Magical Kenya Open

The top 8 players of the Safari Tour series will earn the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Magical Kenya Open, scheduled to take place from 22 to 25 February 2024.

Dismas Indiza is currently on the lead with 122 points followed by Daniel Nduva with 99 points

The Safari Tour Season Six has a thrilling lineup of events in the coming weeksthat includes:

Limuru Country Club - 13th to 17th January 2024

Muthaiga Golf Club - 27th to 31st January 2024

Karen Country Club - 3rd to 7th February 2024

These events promise to deliver world-class golfing experiences, attracting top talent and providing spectators with memorable moments on the green.
