The five bouts will be live on DStv Maisha Magic Bongo Channel on the platform's Bomba package
A total of five bouts will highlight the highly anticipated Nairobi Fight Night Rumble that will see Tanzanian popular boxer Karim ‘Mtu Kazi’ Mandonga make his second return to Nairobi - when he takes on Ugandan boxer Keneth Lukyamuzi in an eight round heavyweight bout set for the night of March 25 at the Kasarani Gym.
In what is going to be the co-main feature of the night, Mandonga (4-3-1) will fight for the vacant Pugilist Syndicate of Tanzania (PST) light heavy-weight against the Ugandan who has a record of 5 wins, with two coming via way of knockout.
Mandonga's last appearance in Kenya was in January 17 when he beat Kenyan opponent Daniel Wanyonyi via a fifth round knock out.
“Mandonga is back by public demand, Nairobians wanted to watch him in action again and we've given them what they want, I expect them in large numbers at Kasarani,” show promoter Seleman Semunyu of Peak Time Media Promotions told Nenez Media.
In the main fight, Kenyan boxer Nick Otieno - also known as Kanyankole- will square up against Hassan Ndongo from Tanzania in a 10 round Vacant Pugilistic Syndicate of Tanzania Super Bantamweight Title bout.
