The Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) is set to host an electrifying fight night on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Charter Hall in Nairobi.
This highly anticipated event will feature top boxing talent from Kenya and beyond, headlined by a main bout between Kenyan heavyweight champion Morris Okolla and Mauritian contender Cedric Oliver.
As fighters prepare for the big night, the weigh-in took place on Friday at the Maa Hotel and Suites.
Okolla displayed confidence, declaring, “I’m ready to beat my opponent in three rounds.” In response, Oliver challenged him, stating, “My opponent talks a lot; let’s settle this in the ring.”

KPBC chairman Reuben Ndolo urged fans to attend in large numbers, emphasizing the significance of the night.
“This promises to be a huge night of boxing, and we invite all Kenyans to come watch these bouts,” he said.
Ndolo also announced additional events planned for later in the year in Mombasa, Lamu, and Kisumu.
“We will have one more major event in Nairobi featuring boxers from Mauritius, Tanzania, DRC, and other regions,” he added.
