On his part, Kiplagat has been with Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) men's league side General Service Unit (GSU) since leaving Cheptil High School where his volleyball skills were horned. This will be his first professional stint.
The two join a growing list of Kenyan volleballers who are seeking professional with another GSU player Abiud Chirchir already making headway in the French second tier league where he is suiting up for Grand Nancy Volley-Ball.
Kenya Prison’s Michael Chemos is the other Wafalme squad member who has landed a professional deal this year as he secured a six-month contract with Tunisian club Mouloudia in September.
