The women's league remains at Nyayo Indoor arena as the men's league matches continue to be hosted by various teams.
Action moves to Kakamega and Kibos as the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) men's league returns on June 13 and 14 with mouthwatering clashes lined up in Group One and Two respectively.
The women's league with continue at Nyayo Indoor Arena on June 12 with four matches in the offing in what is the league's fourth leg.
In the men's league, which is in it's third round, the highlight of the leg is easily the clash between holders General Service Unit (GSU) and Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) set for June 14 at the Kakamega Approved School.
The Dockers are currently at the helm of the KVF standings at 19 points from seven matches, having won six and lost one 3-2 while the defending champions are third at 15 points from six matches. GSU are unbeaten in their six matches, picking three victories on a 3-0 set outcome with the other three won in 3-2 set scores. Kenya Prisons are second on 17 points from seven matches.
KPA and GSU were the Kenyan representatives to the Africa men's Club Championship in Tunisia in April where the former finished fifth while the holders ranked seventh. The clash in the local league is likely to determine which team heads to the playoffs at the helm of the standings.
"I am happy to face some challenge in the local league. This has called for a change in the way we train and prepare for matches. Previously we would rest easy, play the same way and still pick 3-0 wins but it is exciting to have to sit and think how you'll handle a certain match. I am happy for KPA and what coach Sammy Mulinge is doing at the club and I welcome the competition," said GSU head coach Gideon Tarus in an interview.
GSU will begin their action in Kakamega with a clash against Administration Police (AP) Kenya before taking on hosts Western Prisons on June 13. On the second day of action, Tarus' charges will have a date with Nairobi Prisons before facing off with KPA.
On their part, KPA have Kenya Army to contend with on June 13 before facing Western Prisons on day two of action before the GSU clash.
Meanwhile, Kenya Prisons men will be looking to extend their good run and possibly take the lead on the standings when they take on Mombasa Prisons, Rift Valley Prisons, Kenya Forest Service (KFS) and Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) on the two days of action. The group two matches are set for Kibos main prison.
Meanwhile, women league holders take on KDF, who will have done duty against Nairobi Prisons in the opening match of the leg, while former champions Kenya Pipeline face Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). Nairobi Prisons play Nairobi Water. Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) will not be in action according to the released fixtures.
