Matches will be hosted at USIU grounds.
Former Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) men’s league champions, Ulinzi Warriors will be in action this weekend as the second leg of the league continues after the festive break.
In the only men’s premier league match of Saturday 21 January, the Bernard Mufutu-led side takes on Strathmore Blades with victory in mind, having closed the year on a losing note when they fell to Umoja 60-55.

As per the fixtures released for the weekend of 21 and 22 January, matches will now be hosted at the United States International University (USIU). Part of last year’s matches were hosted at Ulinzi Complex and University of Nairobi (UoN) grounds as the federation cited high cost of hiring out the Nyayo Indoor Arena.
Saturday’s action will also see title-contenders in the women’s league Zetech Sparks play Storms and hope to keep their fairytale season going. On the same day, Caleb Osewe’s Kenyatta University Oryx take on Ronnie Owino’s Strathmore Swords.
On Sunday Sparks are expected back in action in another varsity derby where they play Africa Nazarene University (ANU) Panthers. Maurice Obilo’s Sparks go to battle without one of their key players, Deborah Obunga who has since joined Equity Bank Hawks.
The other premier league matches pit ANU Wolfpacks against Umoja while Blades get back on the court for battle against Equity Bank Dumas.
