Kenyan international Veronica Adhiambo has officially joined Hapoel Kfar Saba Volleyball Club, the five-time Israeli league and cup champions based in Kfar Saba.
Adhiambo makes the move barely a month after cementing herself as one of Malkia Strikers’ best assets at the 2025 World Championships in Thailand, where she emerged as Kenya's top scorer.

She impressed in their opening match against Germany, recording 19 points despite the team's straight-sets loss. She continued the stellar how against Poland, dropping 18 points, including two blocks and an ace, as the African champions lost 3-1.
Against Vietnam, she was instrumental in Kenya's 3-0 victory in their final pool match. Adhiambo contributed 19 points, including three blocks and an ace, in a strong offensive performance, combining with teenage sensation Malyne Terry Tata, the fast-rising opposite, and middle blocker Belinda Barasa, who scored 12 and 13 points respectively, the latter’s tally including five blocks, for Kenya’s only win.
The former Israeli champions and reigning Cup winners believe Adhiambo’s inclusion ahead of the 2025/26 season, set for Saturday, 18 October, serve off, will add to their depth as they look to reclaim their league title, retain the Cup trophy, and establish themselves as a contender in the Middle European League (MEVZA).
“Meet Veronica Oluoch, one of the most promising players in the world! She has played in top teams in Greece and Turkey in the past, which indicates the talent and international experience she has gained. Veronica will strengthen our receiving, defense, and offense. Good luck and welcome!” part of the team’s statement reads.
Her professional career, which started at home with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and Kenya Pipeline, has taken her to various clubs in Europe and the Middle East.
In 2022, she joined the Turkish team Tarsus Belediyesi for a season before moving to Greek club GS Panionios.
Adhiambo will play against her Malkia Strikers teammate Pamela Adhiambo in the six-team MEVZA regional competition. Pamela signed for Croatia’s HAOK Mladost Zagreb in June, one of the teams competing in the same tournament scheduled for Tuesday, 30 September, serve off.
"Thank you for welcoming me here, " she said in her first club interview. "I know working with you is going to be great. To the fans, you're welcome to enjoy our matches," she said.
