Action continues on Sunday with the Bungoma-based side facing avid tests against Ulinzi sides

Bungoma-based Kisiwa TTI men's handball side announced themselves in the Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) league, picking back-to-back wins on Saturday 6 October.

The James Ipapo-coached side had Oliver Chogea and Yusuf Pwoka lead the charge in their opening match against Kenyatta University (K.U), scoring 14 and 12 goals respectively for a 40-35 victory.

The duo was switched on for the clash against Daystar University, scoring nine and eight goals respectively for a 33-32 victory, surviving a second half comeback scare as they led 18-15 at half time.

It was another close call in the other men's league match of Saturday as Desert Scorpions picked a slim 23-22 victory over Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT).

However, in the women’s league, Kisiwa got a baptism by fire welcome, falling to both K.U and Daystar University in 41-34 and and 39-29 outcomes.

The other women’s match of the day pitting National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) against varsity side JKUAT saw the former pick an easy 35-15 victory.

On Sunday, the Millers also have a date with Kisiwa at 3pm, just hours after the latter play holders Ulinzi Sharks.

In the men's league, Sunday's action pits Kisiwa against Ulinzi HC while Strathmore welcome Desert Scorpions as Black Mamba face the busy Kisiwa. KU face General Service Unit (GSU) in the last match of the weekend.
