The 2026 Mozzart Kenya Cup men's volleyball tournament will crown a new champion after General Service Unit (GSU) ended Kenya Ports Authority's (KPA) title defense with a dramatic 3-2 semi-final victory before Chema Volleyball Club booked the second final berth with a 3-1 win over Kenya Prisons at the Kasarani Indoor Arena.

The much-anticipated clash between defending champions KPA and GSU lived up to its billing, producing a thrilling five-set contest that kept fans on the edge of their seats well into the night.
KPA had reached the semi-finals after defeating Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) 3-1 in the quarter-finals, while GSU eased past Equity Bank 3-0 to book their place in the last four.
GSU recovered from an early deficit to edge a tightly contested opening set 26-24 before taking command of the match with a 25-20 victory in the second set.
With their title defense hanging by a thread, KPA mounted a spirited comeback in the third set, surviving a tense battle to prevail 31-29 as the crowd rose to applaud the determination shown by both sides.
The Dockers carried that momentum into the fourth set, producing another impressive display to claim a 25-23 victory and force a decisive fifth set.

KPA appeared to be in control after opening up an 8-7 lead at the change of ends, but GSU remained composed and capitalized on a series of costly errors to take the deciding set 15-11, sealing a memorable victory and ending the champions' reign.
Earlier in the day, Chema became the first team to book a place in the final after overcoming Kenya Prisons 3-1 in another entertaining semi-final.
The Juja-based side had advanced to the last four by defeating KAPU 3-0 in the quarter-finals, while Kenya Prisons reached the semi-finals after brushing aside Administration Police of Kenya (APK) in straight sets.
Chema had to dig deep in the opening set as Kenya Prisons kept pace until the closing stages before the eventual winners pulled away to take it 25-21.
They tightened their grip on the contest in the second set, cruising to a comfortable 25-18 victory to move within one set of the final.
Kenya Prisons responded strongly in the third set, punishing a dip in Chema's intensity to claim a deserved 25-21 win and keep their hopes alive.
However, Chema quickly regained control in the fourth set, holding off a determined fightback from the Wardens to secure a 25-22 victory and complete a 3-1 triumph.
The victory allows Chema to make amends for their disappointment in the league final by chasing Mozzart Kenya Cup glory against GSU.
Meanwhile, Kenya Prisons will face outgoing champions KPA in the third-place playoff, where Ksh150,000 will be on the line.
The winners of the Mozzart Kenya Cup will pocket Ksh300,000, with the runners-up earning Ksh200,000.
The third-placed team will receive Ksh150,000, while the fourth-placed side will take home Ksh100,000, all courtesy of tournament sponsors Mozzart Bet.
