Pipeline have embarked on preparations for the Africa Club Championships set tentatively for March or April.
As Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) women's league champions Kenya Pipeline embark on preparations for the new season and this year's CAVB Club Championships, coach Paul Gitau says his squad will remain unchanged.
In an interview on the sidelines of a celebratory breakfast hosted by the team's management, Gitau said that he is content with his squad as currently constituted and will not be looking to recruit for at least two more seasons.
"For the next two years, we are not recruiting. That chapter is closed. I have six young players, one is 17 years old who sat her KCSE last year, two more who are still in their teens having cleared school the previous year and the rest are from the 2020 class.
The target now is to build the team around these young players, make them great then we can talk about recruiting from there on," Gitau offerd.

The oil merchants have begun their preparation for the continental assignment with the tactician maintaining that he will be working on the team as a whole as he does not rely on star players to win.
"My mission is to mould many good players in my team as opposed to relying on a few that play well. This will cushion us against any eventualities where certain players are unavailable as anyone cab step up and deliver," Gitau added.
The side will be looking to retain the national title in this year's league while chasing the continental gong, currently held by KCB, a title Pipeline last won in 2005.
