Tobiko join Jeff Muturi as the other marquee signings in the last one month

Prominent sports management agency Genesis Sports Limited on Wednesday 8 November secured the services of swimming talent Rodgers Tobiko to its camp from the Kenyatta University Swimming Team - Piranaz.

In the deal, the fourth-year Computer Science student, who also doubles up as a seasoned professional swimmer, will be equipped with the necessary resources and support to further elevate his swimming career.

Among the benefits he will stand to get will include: provision with Yingfa Swimwear, and access to top-tier swimming accessories and world-class coaching.

"We are ecstatic to welcome Tobiko to the Genesis Sports family," Alex Kaindi - head coach at Genesis Sports Limited - said on the new acquisition. "His talent, hard work, and unwavering passion for swimming make him a natural fit for our club.

“We are committed to supporting him in reaching his full potential and securing a place on the Kenyan Swimming Team.”

With the partnership set to be a game-changer for Tobiko, Kaindi also mentioned that he would also be exposed to some of the state-of-the-art training facilities and opportunities to compete at the highest level.

Tobiko now becomes the other notable Kenyan swimmer to join ranks with the institution recognized as the exclusive authorized dealer and distributor of Yingfa products in Kenya and East Africa.

His signing follows that of Jeff Muturi, a swimmer and fourth-year Civil Engineering student at JKUAT whose deal was completed last month.

Genesis Sports Limited wrote: “Tobiko's decision to join us serves as a testament to the immense potential within the Kenyan swimming community. With the right guidance and support, Kenyan swimmers are primed to make a significant impact on the global stage.

“As he embarks on this exhilarating new chapter, the Kenyan swimming community eagerly anticipates the success and achievements that lie ahead.”
