Kenya Volleyball Federation bronze medalists Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) were on Saturday 14 May bundled out of the CAVB Africa Club Championship's last four after a straight-sets defeat to Port Douala.
The Sammy Mulinge-led side qualified for the quarter finals, direct from the group stage, avoiding the newly introduced round of 16.

Playing fellow dockers in Cameroon's Douala, many expected the Kenyans to carry the day as Douala had previously gone down 3-2 (16-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-22, 15-11) to another Kenyan side, Equity Bank who were considered a weaker side compared to KPA.
However, the Cameroonians came on strong against Mulinge's charges picking an easy 3-0 (17-25, 15-25 and 17-25) to relegate KPA to the classification matches for positions five to eight.
The other Kenya side, Equity Bank have only picked one victory against Port Douala but were eliminated in the round of 16 by defending champions Esperance.
