Carl Tundo's son Billy Tundo finished third on his debut in the Bambino Class.

Legendary driver Ian Duncan was among the star attractions as curtains came down on the eight round of the KCB Kenya National Autocross Championship in Gilgil.

Driving an "Attacker 1" Buggy, the 1994 World Rally Championship (WRC) Safari Rally winner cleared the ground with all his opponents to win the Two Wheel Drive (2WD) Turbo Class.

Duncan also savored two bonus Championship points after setting the Fastest Time of the Day (FTD) in the third heat which he cleared in 2.45 minutes. He beat Pranjeet Sagoo to second position in class.

Defending Champion and leader Zameer Verjee beat Gurraj Singh to 2WD Non-Turbo victory following a neck and neck battle in the dry and dusty race which gave drivers a taste of volcanic ash soil typical of Great Rift races.

Zameer was 7seconds faster than Gurraj in the mid-morning first heat.

The champion was again 2seconds faster than Gurraj in the second and third. Gurraj beat Zameer by a second in the fourth and last heat which wasn't enough to overturn the result.

Eann Bengi, son of rally driver Eric Bengi, registered his second career victory on his third race since joining the sport in August.

Champion and leader Yuvraj Rajput beat Karamveer Singh Rooprai to Bambino Class honors.

Yuvraj was 19 seconds faster than Rooprai in the opening heat. He was again 14 and 19 seconds faster in the preceding heats but missed the last heat after he was assured of victory.

Today's race welcomed Billy Tundo, Carl Tundo's son who made.his debut in his home track.

Billy finished third in Bambino Class behind Yuvraj and Karamveer.
