
All set for National Table Tennis National Team trials

The Top 10 players in each category, make it to the National Team Pool and will be selected for International assignments based on their current form before any major assignment
The National Table Tennis National Team Trials are set to serve off on Friday 11 March at the Goan Institute, Nairobi starting at 8:30 AM, and will stretch all the way to Sunday 13 March.
A total of 58 players are set to compete in the girls, boys, ladies, and men categories all with their eyes fixed on the National Team pool and selection to the national team for this year’s Commonwealth Games later in the year.
Playing schedule draw will be conducted on Friday morning for all groups, with the said groups set to will play in a round robin format and all matches being best of five.
On top of the trials, the Kenya Anti-doping Agency will hold workshops on Friday for all Senior Men and Ladies players while a similar event is on the cards for the Juniors on Saturday. The Anti-doping workshop will be mandatory for all participants and will be accompanied by three points which will be added to the final round-robin results.

The Seniors list has 16 players in each category while in the juniors section there are 13 players in each category who will be battling it out for the 10 slots starting Friday.
