Jurgen Klopp will officially become Red Bull's new head of football operations on January 1. One of his first official assignments will be to oversee the development of Paris FC. Red Bull owns 10.6% of the Ligue 2 side, and its goal is to help develop the Parisian club, especially in terms of scouting young players.

L'Equipe reports this Friday that Klopp himself will attend Paris FC's Ligue 2 game against Amiens at Stade Charlety on Saturday, January 11. The former Liverpool boss will briefly visit the French capital, so he won't get to know Paris FC team and players nor visit the club's facilities.

Paris FC have only won one of their last five Ligue 2 games, dropping to second place behind Lorient.
