Arda Guler has ruptured right quadriceps. He will be out for about a month
Real Madrid starlet Arda Guler will be out for at least a month with a quadriceps injury he suffered during Los Blanco's pre-match training session.
This new injury is unrelated to the previous physical problems the youngster, 18, has had so far this season. The Turkish player has yet to make his Real Madrid debut, but it won't happen before the Christmas break.
Initially, he had a meniscus problem that he tried to avoid surgery for after it was detected in July. A month later, he would go under the knife. On his return in October, he suffered another muscle problem, keeping him out for several weeks.
Carlo Ancelotti and the Real Madrid staff had put him on a personal fitness programme to give Guler a preseason workload, but he has broken down again.
