He played a crucial role as Bandari edged KCB 2-0 to secure third-place finish.
Msagha was a thorn in the flesh of the KCB defense with his direct attack approach and dribbles, that saw him provide assists for captain Andrew Juma’s opener as well as a pre-assit to Amza Moubarack’s goal.
Speaking after receiving the cheque, Msagha revealed that it was an easy choice on how he will utilize the coveted cheque.
“This award is largely meant for charity and I will take it to my former team Werega Youth. That is where I played football as a young boy and nurtured my talent,” said Msagha.
The explosive winger also took time to reflect on the season and heartwarmingly dedicated the award to a special person in his life.
“The season has been tough. There were many difficult phases, the most of them being losing my father whom I dedicate the award to.”
Apart from the death of his father, the former Sofapaka man has equally been on the sidelines nursing a nudging injury.
“I also got an injury which kept me out for a while but I am glad we ended it in this manner. I will now take time to refresh as we prepare for hopefully a better season,” he remarked.
