WPL: Trinity Starlets eye top spot as Zetech stand in way of Gideons

Gideon and KISPED are the only two teams yet to pick up points this season
The FKF Women Premier League (WPL) continues with round four matches taking center stage over this weekend beginning with two matches today, Saturday, 8 November.

League newbies Gideon Starlets will take on Zetech Sparks, as Trinity Starlets face off with Kisped Queens to complete Saturday action.
After a perfect start to the season, Kenyan giants Vihiga Queens are at the top of the league table with nine points, same as defending champions Kenya Police Bullets, the former having a better goal difference.
In the relegation zone, two teams are yet to earn even a single point out of the first three matches - Gideon Starlets and Kisped Queens.

Here are the latest WPL league standings:

At the Comboni Polytechnic Grounds in Gilgil, Trinity Starlets takes on bottom placed Kisped Queens from 1300 hrs.
Trinity have had an impressive start to the season that has seen them win two and drawn one since the start of the season.
The two wins came at the expense of Kisumu All Starlets and Bungoma Queens, before settling for a draw in their last match against FKF Cup champions Kibera Soccer Women.
A win for Trinity today will take them to the top of the WPL table, at least before Vihiga Queens or Police take to the pitch tomorrow, Sunday 9 November.
Kisped, on the other hand, will still be hunting for their first point of the season after losing the first three matches, including a 6-0 loss to Vihiga Queens in their last match.
At the Raila Odinga Stadium, Homa Bay (ROSH), Gideon Starlets welcomes varsity side Zetech Sparks for a clash that begins at 1400 hrs.
Since their promotion to the top tier this season, Gideon have not managed to earn a single point, and this home match provides an opportunity to bag the three points.
Zetech, on the other hand, will be eyeing their second win of the season, as they purpose to distance themselves from the relegation zone.
