Ulinzi Starlets beat Kisumu All Starlets 2-1 on Saturday to move third on the log.

Kenya Women Premier League (WPL) leaders Gaspo Women face off with Zetech Sparks in a round 15 match scheduled for Sunday 9 April from 1:15 pm at Gems Cambridge grounds.

The Jacob 'ghost' Mulee coached side are keen to maintain their stay at the helm and are likely to keep a tight ship against the varsity side who are in the relegation zone.

Under coach Bernard Kitolo, Sparks find themselves in unfamiliar territory. having accumulated 13 points in 14 matches. The side was docked three points for a walkover they handed out in the first leg and have lost six matches.

On their part, holders Vihiga Queens, keen to reclaim their place at the helm, host limping Trans Nzoia Falcons.

The Boniface Nyanunyamu-coached champions are the better side, on paper, against their Kitale-based counterparts who are ninth on the log, 15 points off of the defending champions.

In other matches, Nakuru Queens who are currently fourth on the log following Ulinzi Starlets' win against Kisumu on Saturday, host Thika Queens in a bid to reclaim third spot and keep hopes of fighting for the league title alive.

A win for the Fred Majani-coached Thika takes them to 29 points with a possibility for a third spot as well depending on the number of goals, as they would be tied on points with Ulinzi

The fourth match of the day is a bottom-of-the-table clash pitting Kangemi Ladies against Kayole Starlets. The latter are 12th running on the negatives including on points while Kangemi have picked just one win. Both sides are likely headed for relegation.
