Kenya Poluce registered the first win the campaign after beating Bidco United
A first half strike from Patrick Otieno was enough to hand Posta Rangers the fourth win of the season as the mailmen beat Kariobangi Sharks 1-0 at the Kasarani Annex.
Otieno found the back of the net in the seventh minute after centre back Kennedy Owino had found him with a long pass.
This was the second time Otieno was winning a league match for Posta this season as his lone goal saw the club beat debutants Murang’a Seal by a similar margin.
The former Sharks winger who couldn’t help but celebrate after inflicting pain on his former employer has two goals against his name.
Rangers have played five matches so far and won four out of them and drawn once.
John Kamau’s charges have scored eight goals and conceded once.
The result also sees Sharks surrender their unbeaten start.
Only Posta and Gor Mahia are yet to lose a game this season.
Meanwhile, Kenya Police started reaping the fruits of ringing changes in the technical bench after the team bagged their first win in the season after flooring Bidco United 2-0 at the Police Pavillion in South C.
Police hired Croatian tactician Zdravko Logarusic in the course of the week to help arrest the poor start that had seen the team draw three times and taste defeat in the past four rounds.
Logarusic who has previously managed Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards replaced Francis Baraza who had been in charge since last season.
Kenneth Muguna and Clinton Kinanga were on target for Police, goals which also ended Bidco’s unbeaten run.
In other matches played on Saturday, Seal bagged their third win in the campaign after beating Nzoia Sugar 1-0 at the Sudi Stadium.
Winger Wilson Kamau scored the all-important goal in the second half to see his side bounce back to winning ways after two successive defeats.
