Kenya arrived in Abidjan on Saturday to complete final preparations.

The first-leg meeting between the two sides ended in a goalless draw in Malawi.

Sitting third in Group F with 12 points, Harambee Stars are playing for pride and momentum.

Assistant coach Vasili Manousakis says the team is focused on maintaining their winning mentality after back-to-back victories over Seychelles and Burundi.

“Any time the national team takes the pitch, the intention is to win,” said Manousakis. “We have to create a winning culture; it is now two wins, one away, and two clean sheets. The mentality is to keep building and go for another win.”

He acknowledged the challenge ahead but remains optimistic about his side’s chances: “We know the quality in their squad, but we believe in ourselves. Nobody gave us a chance away to Burundi, and even when we had to dig deep, we managed to get the three points.”
