Had Rodri not won the Ballon d'Or ahead of Vinicius Junior, Guardiola's team might have never experienced the crisis they see no exit from

Approximately a month and a half ago, one of the most intriguing Ballon d'Or ceremonies in the past ten years was held. The ultimate choice came down to Man City's Rodri and Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior, and even though numerous sources announced the Brazilian's win, the Spaniard eventually grabbed the accolade.

However, a much more important thing happened prior to the decision, as the roots of the Citizen's' current unprecedented crisis could be found in another Brazilian and his curse. Namely, as Vini's chances to win the award slowly but surely faded away, Spurs' forward Richarlison put a curse on Pep Guardiola's team by prophesying, "If Vini doesn't win, S**T IS GONNA GO DOWN."

Vinicius indeed did not win, and only two days after the ceremony, Man City's terrible run began, as the Citizen's triumphed only once in the ten games they played since. After the latest defeat against Juventus last night (2-0), "the prophet" spoke again, this time in a form of social media comment.

"The curse of the Lord falls on the house of the thief. S**t is going down!!!" wrote Richarlison.

Now, given that his solutions haven't been working so far, Guardiola should find a way to "butter up" the Brazilian and convince him to break the curse. Otherwise, City's future will be gloomy.
