AFC Leopards coach Patrick Aussems intimates he will continue working with available players despite reports that Marvin Nabwire and Jaffari Owiti are back from Nigeria

AFC Leopards coach Patrick Aussems has maintained that he will focus on working only with players at his disposal.

Winger Jaffari Owiti and Marvin Nabwire who have been missing in action for the past two games that AFC have played against Nzoia and recently against Posta Rangers are reportedly back in the country from trials in Nigeria.

Questioned about the availability of the two players, Aussems revealed the duo is yet to report back to training.

"I haven't seen them yet. Maybe I will see them in training in the coming week, I don't know. I am playing with players at my disposal and they are doing a good job," Aussems said after the frustrating draw against Posta Rangers.

Earlier, a source within the den who sought anonymity said that the players had not even asked for permission from the club.

"They never asked the office for permission. There were rumours that they in Sweden but it has now emerged that they are in Nigeria. This is definitely shocking because leaving a team like Leopards for trials in Nigeria does not make much sense," he told Mozzart Sports.

After the 1-0 win against Nzoia Sugar on the weekend of league resumption, Aussems said that the duo would face disciplinary action.

"I work with players available in training. I do not want to talk about players who are not with the team for whatever reason but definitely, their absence shows that they are not professionals and they should face disciplinary action," the Belgian said.

Ingwe missed the chance to go top of the table yesterday when they played to a barren draw with Posta Rangers at Ruaraka Stadium
