Ng'ang'a has not missed a Wazito game in the fourteen encounters that the club has played this season.
Wazito FC has been dealt an injury blow ahead of their Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) match set for Sunday against Sofapaka FC after left-back Dennis Ng’ang’a suffered a knee injury.
Ng’ang’a, who has been a crucial cog in Wazito’s impressive performance this season, has not missed any of the fourteen games that the Francis Kimanzi-led side has played so far in this campaign. In addition to that, the defender has also chipped in with one goal for the club.
Team doctor Noel Mandi, in an interview on the club’s website, confirmed the defender’s injury that will rule him out of the league clash for the first time this season.
“Dennis Ng’ang’a got injured on Thursday and he will not be involved on Sunday. The other players are all fit and available for the match,” said Mandi.

Ng’ang’a is reported to have suffered the injury on Thursday while preparing for the Sunday league fixture and the club is awaiting scans to determine the extent of the injury.
On the positive front, Wazito have the boost of having midfielder Elli Asieche fit and ready to play against his former employers. In a previous interview on Mozzart Sport, the midfielder revealed he was ready and raring to go again after the stop and start spell he has had to endure at Wazito.
“Before President Uhuru Kenyatta issued the measures, I had already started training with my teammates. Right now, if the league resumes, I am able to play if given a chance,” he said.
