Vincent Oburu completes Zesco United move

The Kenyan International joins the Zambian giants after two-weeks trials

Kenyan striker Vincent Oburu has joined Zambian side Zesco United on a two-year deal.

The left-forward terminated hos contract with FKFPL-side Wazito FC before heading out silently to Zambia to try out with Zesco who had an additional slot for a foreigner and needed a striker after parting ways with another Kenyan, Jesse Were.

"The technical bench was impressed with his ability and offered him a 2-year contract with an option to extend for a further year. He is excited and looking forward to the challenge." A source close to the player told Mozzart Sport.

Oburu could make his debut for Zesco when the host Kafue Celtic in a league match on Wednesday afternoon.
