Juma has been overseeing trials at Fortune Sacco but he has disclosed that he has not reached any form of agreement with the club over taking over
Immediate former Western Stima coach Juma Abdallah has downplayed reports linking him with a move to National Super League side Fortune Sacco ahead of the 2021/22 National Super League campaign that kicks off at the start of November.
Juma was in charge of Stima last season but he unsuccessfully tried to help them avoid relegation from the top tier. He left the club at the end of the 2020/21 FKF Premier League campaign in search of greener pastures.
Media reports on Friday indicated that the former Thika United, Bidco United, FC Talanta, Chemelil Sugar, KCB. Gusii FC and AFC Leopards coach had moved to Fortune but he has now downplayed the reports.

Juma admitted that he has been conducting trials for Fortune but is not yet contracted with the club. He says he was requested to help the club replace players who left the club. Ziyadi Kiwanuka, Vincent Otieno, Robert Mutinda, and John Mabia are among the players who ditched the club.
“It is not true; I have not signed a contract with Fortune Sacco. I have been here for a couple of days helping them with the trials as they are trying to replace the players that they lost so that they can be competitive again next season. As you know they missed out on promotion narrowly,” he told Mozzart Sport.
Juma however did not rule out taking over permanently. He revealed that talks between the two parties are currently ongoing and a decision as to whether he leaves or takes will be made in the coming week.
“We are in talks and maybe I will have something to say by Wednesday next week but for now it is premature to say I have joined the team. As coaches, we cannot turn down an opportunity to help identify talents and that is what I am doing right now with Fortune,” he added.
Former AFC Leopards, Bidco Utd and Gusii United coach Juma Abdalla has been appointed as the new Western Stima Head coach.
