In front of just over 60,000 fans, the Catalan club achieved a 10-goal advantage over two matches

Barcelona delivered yet another ruthless performance in El Clasico, dismantling Real Madrid for the third time in just nine days to secure their place in the Women’s Champions League semi-finals.

The tie had already been effectively decided a week earlier, when the three-time champions stormed to a commanding 6-2 win in Madrid. Still, they showed no signs of slowing down in the return leg, putting on a spectacle in front of 60,067 fans at a packed Camp Nou and adding another six goals to seal a staggering 12-2 aggregate triumph.

This latest victory comes only days after Barcelona’s 3-0 league win over the same opponents, a result that extended their lead at the top of Liga F to 13 points.

Captain Alexia Putellas marked her 500th appearance in style, opening the scoring in the eighth minute by converting a rebound after Misa Rodriguez denied Ewa Pajor’s first effort. That early goal set the tone, as Barcelona took full control before the break, with strikes from Caroline Graham Hansen, Irene Paredes and Pajor building a 4-0 advantage.

Graham Hansen added her second shortly after the restart with a composed lob, and Esmee Brugts wrapped things up with a simple finish to cap off another dominant display. Real Madrid, disorganized in defense and offering little going forward, failed to register a single shot on target, highlighting the gulf between the sides on the night.

Barcelona’s dominance in this fixture continues, with 24 wins from their 25 encounters across all competitions.

Next up, the Catalan giants will meet Bayern Munich in the semi-finals, after the German side eliminated Manchester United with a 5-3 aggregate victory.
